Ruth Millar's blog often features book arts links and things that cross over between (as might be expected of an Interactive Media Publishing student) digital, print media and forms of making and consuming.
She hasn't posted in a while, but I'm looking forward to having a good dig in the archives.
Abandoned by his host family in England on a cultural exchange visit in the 30's, the young Chimbonda wanders a disused mansion and discovers a plot to smear cyanide on the monocles of great public figures.

Apelad shares his sketchbook full of hoboes.
there's something about these close up movies of sketchbooks being turned over that is just as interesting as the contents, to me. Book art? Film? Or what?
Book in Hand is another book art show I won't get to. It's in New Haven this time, but at least there is a good slideshow for it. Looks pretty interesting.
BOOK IN HAND
February 17 - March 18, 2007
Artists' Reception: Saturday, February 17, 5-7 PM
Performative Multimedia Lecture by Pattie Belle Hastings: Sunday, February 25, 4-5 PM
Gallery hours: Saturday-Sunday 12-5pm (+3rd Fridays, February 16 and March 16, 4-7 PM) FREEArts + Literature Laboratory (ALL) is proud to present an exhibition of artists' books juried by Pattie Belle Hastings. The scope of this exhibition presents a wide-range of books in scale and complexity by twenty-six artists and/or collaborators. Unlike many book arts shows with glass-encased viewings, gallery visitors are encouraged to handle and read these books. This show celebrates and affirms, in this digital age, the materiality of the book.
